Product Management

Wireless Product Manager

Skyhook Wireless seeks a Product Manager to join the founding team in managing Skyhook's core location engine. As Product Manager, you will guide the overall team to continue the company's leadership in location technology. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

Requires:

1-2 years of software marketing/product management experience. Knowledgeable in technology. Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus. Experience in wireless industry, location products and/or MBA a plus.

Web Product Manager

Skyhook Wireless seeks a Product Manager to join the founding team in developing new consumer web products as well as manage existing products. As Product Manager, your primary responsibility will be for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements; defining the product vision; and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This role also ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. You must have a passionate and in-depth knowledge about trends in online advertising and what constitutes a great consumer experience; and you can tell when Web 2.0 is practical and when it's mere hype.

Requires:

1-2 years of online marketing/product management experience. Knowledgeable in technology. Experience in online advertising or Web 2.0 company a plus.
